Revitalize your meeting room in 4 steps
1- Ask yourself the right questions
Before even furnishing your room, you must answer three questions:
- Do you want a fixed or removable room?
- How many participants will there be on average?
- What level of prestige are you looking for?
2- Choose a suitable table
For fixed meeting rooms, you will benefit from opting for round, oval or even “A” shaped tables, offering a warmer configuration and facilitating communication. Note that a thick wooden table will give a lot of prestige to your room.
If the meeting calls for
more modularity, trapezium or rectangle shaped tables will offer a more
changeable configuration. In this sense, think of modular, roller or folding
tables, which are light and adapt to your different types of meeting.
3- Bet on the comfort of your seats
Opt for comfortable, firm
seats with fixed armrests. Bet on seats equipped with a standard mechanism
allowing tilting and height adjustment or on simple chairs, without swiveling
or casters. Depending on the desired design, several colors and materials are
available.
4- Create an appropriate environment
Allow a clearance of one meter or more on each side of the table and allow a space of about 60 centimeters per person. As for light, bet on lighting that is close to natural light to promote concentration and good visibility in all situations. Finally, do not forget to equip the room with enough power outlets and access to the computer network.
