In the cafeteria, forget your worries!

It is often said that the kitchen is often the gathering place in a home. Why not do the same at the office? A well-appointed cafeteria will encourage a pleasant relationship between colleagues. They will be able to brainstorm and share their ideas in an inviting place. The design of this place can thus influence the well-being and productivity of your employees.
Encourage the moment of relaxation

In the kitchen, hierarchy no longer counts. Everyone eats and drinks there.
This is where your colleagues will take time to rest, a break from their busy day and a little time to socialize.
Prioritize comfort and relaxation when choosing your furniture. Opt for chairs with backs, ideally padded, and round tables to encourage exchange and discussion.
Why not help your employees take their minds off things by providing them with a library of picture books or magazines?

Stimulate creativity

Often, the best ideas come by chance, over coffee or during a conversation that seems simple at first. The kitchen can therefore become the creative space for your employees. To favor this atmosphere, add a lounge area or a counter with stools to stimulate your genesis of ideas.

Combine business with pleasure

Consider making your kitchen functional for dinner time. After all, that will remain its primary function! Set up space for a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and possibly even an oven or hot plate.
Choose materials that are easy to clean, for tables and chairs as well as for counters and appliances.
Often, everyone's well-being is encouraged by simple attentions that make all the difference. Consider offering free tea or coffee to your employees or adding a little decoration to make them feel at home in the office.

Let in natural light

Choose a bright, welcoming and open space for your cafeteria. Some of your colleagues certainly have windowless offices, let them enjoy the light during lunchtime! Exposure to natural light helps reduce low mood.
The choice of color for this space will also play a major role in the brightness. For the kitchen, opt for light and dynamic colors. Why not dare yellow or orange hues?
